Chen Zhang

Chen Zhang worked as a Software Engineer for ecobee from October 2019 to the present. In this role, Chen played a key role in the development and launch of a home security system, utilizing Golang and Python. They were also involved in the development of professional monitoring services and worked closely with third-party vendors. Chen demonstrated strong knowledge in domain-driven design and event-driven architecture and regularly wrote architectural decision records. They were responsible for managing micro-services, handling tech debt, and maintaining databases. Prior to this role, Chen worked as a Software Engineer co-op at ecobee from January 2019 to April 2019.
