Raheem McKain

Raheem McKain has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Raheem started their career as an Accounting Technician at B.M. Engineering & Production Ltd., where they maintained financial records and ledgers. Raheem also worked as an Executive Assistant to the Director at Press-Box Printers Ltd., handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and ordering office supplies.

In 2016, Raheem joined GUESS?, Inc. and worked their way up from a Product Expert/Style Guru to an Assistant General Manager Operations. In this role, they exceeded personal and store goals by providing efficient service and was later promoted to Training Specialist.

Raheem then transitioned to Drake Hotel Properties, where they served as a Store Ambassador/Junior Mobility Associate and later as a Keyholder. Raheem supported senior management, maintained customer service standards, and participated in inventory management.

At LensCrafters, Raheem held the position of Manager of Sales (Team Lead) and later became a Business Engagement Manager. Raheem facilitated team building initiatives, coached staff for success, and supported store expansions.

Raheem also worked as an Assistant Store Director at DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY, where they coordinated in-store operations and evaluated performance.

Raheem then joined Counter Intelligence Merchandising as an Account Service Coordinator and later became a National Account Manager. In these roles, they supported national merchandisers, managed key accounts, and collaborated with senior executives on notable projects.

Raheem's most recent position was at Switch Health, where they served as a Client Experience Administrator. Raheem managed operations for in-house and federally funded programs, improving the client experience and increasing satisfaction.

Currently, Raheem is employed at ecobee as a Technical Support Specialist.

Raheem McKain has a diverse education history. Raheem obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they attended The University of the West Indies, Mona, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Raheem completed their secondary education at Wolmer's Schools from 2007 to 2014, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities.

In addition to their formal education, Raheem has also acquired several certifications. In October 2020, they obtained the McGill Personal Finance Essentials Certificate from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management. Raheem also holds a certification in "Support Indigenous Young People (CR)" from Kids Help Phone, which they obtained in September 2020. Furthermore, they gained the certification of "Certified Crisis Intervener (CCI)" from Crisis Text Line in June 2020.
