Roland Wouapit Mbaimoun Nji

Roland Wouapit Mbaimoun Nji has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Roland started their career at Sky2Net Media LTD as a CTO, where they represented the company in Cameroon and other sub-Saharan countries. Roland was responsible for the installation and commissioning of VSATs, as well as sales and maintenance of bandwidth.

After that, Roland worked at Juniper Networks as a Representative for Cameroon. Roland then joined France Telecom/Orange, where they held various roles such as ROSI/ITNPS/SSP/SPG ITN2. Roland also worked at Orange Jordan as a Project Manager at Amman Technocenter.

Returning to Orange Cameroun, Roland took on the position of Products and Services Development Manager, where they were in charge of creating new products and integrating innovations to the company. Roland later became the P&S Development Manager, responsible for products and services development.

Roland also gained experience at mCarbon Tech Innovations Pvt., Ltd. as a Sales Representative, and at Omnismart as a Founder.

In 2017, Roland joined MTN Cameroon as a Manager for Digital & Devices. Roland then moved to Ecocarrier Inc. as a Business Development Director, where they represented the company in the CEMAC zone for the implementation of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality solutions, as well as wholesale minutes for Carriers and roaming solutions for businesses.

Currently, Roland is working as the Chief Security Officer at ATR Cyber.

Roland Wouapit Mbaimoun Nji's education history began in 1992 at GBHS, where they pursued a G.C.E O-Level degree in Sciences, taking 11 papers. From 1997 to 1999, they attended St.Bede's College and obtained a GCE degree in Sciences. In 2000, Roland enrolled at IUT Douala and completed a Bsc in Information Technology from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they pursued an Msc in IT at AIU Florida from 2003 to 2007. In 2013, Roland attended Madison Hills, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunications Engineering in the year 2014.
