Robert Chien

Robert Chien has extensive experience in inspection, certification, and verification within the agriculture sector, currently serving as the Local Agent for Asia-Pacific at ECOCERT Group since September 2011. Chien is also a Partner in Business Development Management at STI Solutions, LLC, focusing on ICT applications in agriculture, and the Executive Director of the International Association of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, promoting medicinal and aromatic plants. Additionally, Chien holds honorary advisory roles at the National Center for Food Safety Education and Research and the Experiment Forest Administration, contributing to preventive controls on food safety and sustainable land management. Previous experience includes serving as the IMO Swiss Representative for ECOCERT Group and working in sales and marketing roles in the cotton industry. Educational qualifications include an EMBA from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor of Arts from Tamkang University.
