Luc Hillege

Luc Hillege began their career in 2013 as a Journalist Sustainability & Innovation at DuurzaamBedrijfsleven.nl, where they wrote articles about sustainability and innovation in and for businesses. In 2016, they took on the role of Aftersales Employee at Vandebron. In 2017, Luc joined Ecochain Technologies, where they held three roles: Product Manager - Product Footprinting, Environmental Specialist, and Research Intern. As Product Manager, Luc made sure Ecochain's LCA software solutions were aligned with the needs and requirements of the market, while as Environmental Specialist, they helped businesses to gain a competitive advantage by calculating and improving the environmental performance of their products, processes and purchased materials. As Research Intern, Luc investigated how LCA-results could further improve Green Public Procurement in the Netherlands.

Luc Hillege completed a BSc in Science, Business & Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2009 to 2013. Luc then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Sustainable Business & Innovation at Utrecht University from 2015 to 2018. In March 2021, they obtained a Professional Scrum Product Owner PSPO 1 certification from Prowareness Agile Academy.
