Marty Toyen

Marty Toyen is former Chief Executive Officer of the naval architecture firm, Seaworthy Systems (now a part of Rolls Royce Naval Marine).

Mr. Toyen serves as a Member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers on the Executive Board and a Member of the IMarEST Ballast Water Expert Group. Mr. Toyen was appointed Chairperson of the Connecticut Maritime Commission by the Governor of Connecticut and acted as a Director of the Connecticut Maritime Association. He was Director and Secretary of the Connecticut Port Authority, a State of Connecticut authority established to assist in economic development for the ports of Connecticut. Mr. Toyen holds a BS in accounting from Central Connecticut State and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
