Colin Pierce

Colin Pierce, PhD, is a biochemist with expertise in enzymology, molecular dynamics simulations, and computational chemistry. Currently serving as a Principal Chemist at Ecolab, Colin previously held a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Minnesota. Colin's doctoral research involved engineering enzymes for novel functions, complemented by a Master's degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Notable achievements include a significant enhancement of enzyme activity and the resolution of crystal structures for four enzymes, contributing to advancements in enzyme engineering and sustainability efforts.
