Héctor Olivera is a seasoned professional in procurement and category management with extensive experience in the chemical and consumer goods sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Procurement Director and Head of the Americas Direct Materials Team at Ecolab since July 2016, Héctor has overseen global category management for various materials and has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Global Procurement and Global Category Manager for amines, defoamers, and organics. Prior to Ecolab, Héctor spent over 12 years at Procter & Gamble, where responsibilities included senior purchases management for transportation sourcing, data and insights procurement, and supply capabilities for critical materials across Latin America. Héctor holds an M.B.A. from Universidad de Chile and an Engineering degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
