James Lucas is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience in product development and design services. Currently serving as Lead Industrial Designer at Ecolab since September 2021, James also founded James Lucas Design, LLC in November 2014, offering services that include industrial design, engineering, UX, graphic design, and brand strategy. Prior to Ecolab, James held various roles at Ergotron from September 2010 to September 2021, contributing to the ODM team by developing custom solutions for major clients such as GE Medical and Amazon. Additional experience includes industrial design at Szar Design, student research at Legrand North America, and teaching design processes at the University of Wisconsin. James holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, completed in 2010.
