Kate Sande

Kate Sande is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory intelligence and scientific affairs, currently serving as the Director at Ecolab since April 2014. In this capacity, Kate leads global innovation regulatory efforts, ensuring compliance with numerous regulatory bodies including the EPA, FDA, and Health Canada, while focusing on the registration of antimicrobial and cleaning products. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs, where innovative registration strategies were developed, and Principal Regulatory Specialist, which involved establishing toxicology functions to facilitate R&D collaboration. Kate’s background also includes positions with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Toxicologist, and previous roles in public health and research at various organizations. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Environmental Health and a Bachelor’s in Paper Science & Engineering from the University of Washington and University of Minnesota, respectively.
