Michael Fulton

Michael Fulton has over a decade of experience in robotics, human-robot interaction, perception, computer vision, deep learning, and AI research. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Clarkson University, followed by a Master's and a PhD from the University of Minnesota, where they published articles in leading robotics publications and led a team in developing a low-cost autonomous marine robot. Previously, they worked at Independent Robotics, where they developed autonomous robotics software and secured significant government funding for projects. Currently, Fulton is a Principal AI/Vision Engineer at Ecolab, focusing on computer vision and AI applications for the restaurant industry.
