Ute Ortlieb

Ute Ortlieb is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in corporate responsibility, accounting, and auditing. Currently serving as Corporate Responsibility Controller Europe at Ecolab since 2007, Ute has held various roles including Senior Program Leader in Innovation Portfolio Management and Manager of European RD&E Finance & Innovation Metrics, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and innovation metric reporting. Ute's prior experience includes accounting management at Walmart, where management of a 20-member accounting team and preparation of financial statements were key responsibilities, as well as external auditing at Arthur Andersen & Co. Ute holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Finance & Accounting from HSB Hochschule Bremen and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Business Finance from Leeds Beckett University, with additional educational pursuits in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge.
