Responsable Audiovisuel - Head Of Audiovisual Department at ECAL University of Art and Design Lausanne

Roberto Canas currently serves as the Head of the Audiovisual Department at ECAL University of Art and Design Lausanne since July 2021. Prior to this role, Roberto worked at IBM as a Service Coordinator Dispatcher in the banking sector from April 2018 to June 2021, managing Linux and Windows systems for engineering teams. Roberto also gained experience as a Sound Technician at the Montreux Jazz Festival from June 2016 to July 2019 and provided first and second-level IT support at ONiKO AG and BdU Consulting AG from October 2017 to September 2017, dedicated to the client BCV. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Multimedia Electronics Technician at Tele-Clinique from June 2009 to February 2014, specializing in satellite and audio-visual installations. Roberto holds a Sound Engineer degree from CFMS Centre de Formation aux Métiers du Son (2015-2017) and a Multimedia Electronics degree from EPSIC École professionelle de Lausanne (2009-2014).

Enjoying international renown and featuring regularly among the world’s top ten universities of art and design, ECAL is directed by Alexis Georgacopoulos.
