Uzoma Nwankpa

Uzoma Nwankpa, PMP®, EIT, is an accomplished Welding Engineer with extensive experience in metallurgy and welding technologies. At Rapid Manufacturing Platform - Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Uzoma led metallographic analysis and reporting for various metal alloys from December 2018 to September 2024. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Engineer in Additive Manufacturing at Welding and Laser Research Centre - Cranfield University, where Uzoma managed project planning and technical specifications from October 2016 to February 2019, and as a Welding Engineer at Marathon Energy, focusing on project deliverables and subcontractor documentation from December 2011 to September 2015. Uzoma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Centrale Nantes, a Master's degree in Welding Engineering from Cranfield University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Process Piping Design, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt.
