Ioana Manolescu

Ioana Manolescu is a seasoned expert in computer science with a focus on databases and distributed query optimization, holding a PhD from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Since January 2012, Ioana has led the CEDAR team at Inria and has also served as a part-time professor at École Polytechnique since September 2016. Prior experience includes membership in the XQuery Working Group at W3C from 2005 to 2006 and a role as a research consultant/post-doc at Politecnico di Milano in 2002. Educational background includes multiple degrees in Computer Science from prestigious institutions, including Ecole normale supérieure and University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
