Dr. Mario Schmitt

Dr. Mario Schmitt has a range of work experiences starting in 2010 with an internship at ICF Kursmakler AG. Dr. Mario went on to complete internships at PwC, Accenture, Deloitte, and McKinsey & Company. In 2014, they completed a fellowship internship at McKinsey & Company. In 2015, they began working at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Consultant and was later involved in voluntary social impact work and became a member of several practice groups. In 2018, while pursuing their PhD, they worked as the Head of Finance & Strategy at a MaaS startup called MOQO. Dr. Mario was responsible for financial controlling, budget planning, business strategy, organization, and recruiting. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded and became the CEO of ecoLocked.
