Melissa Chien

Head of Marketing at ecolytiq

Melissa Chien has over a decade of experience in diverse marketing roles. Melissa currently heads marketing at ecolytiq since 2023. Before this, they served as the Head of Marketing for Freight Forwarders at cargo.one from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Decentriq as Head of Marketing from 2020 to 2021. Melissa also held two positions at Klarna from 2016 to 2020 where they first served as Manager of US Marketing and later Global Lead for Demand Generation. Chien also worked at Citi, where they held various marketing roles from 2012 to 2016. Melissa was the Director of Marketing at Bridge the Gap TV from 2010 to 2012, where they led marketing initiatives for the web and PBS television series. Melissa started their career in 2009 with roles in Business Operations at Cynthia Rowley, Experiential Design, and Marketing at Panda Candy and Sales and Marketing at Shanghai WORLD EXPO 2010. Chien holds extensive experience in Marketing Automation, Market Research, CRM Management, Performance Marketing, and more.

Melissa Chien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Statistics & Operations Research from NYU Stern School of Business. Melissa also obtained a high school diploma from Archbishop Molloy High School. Melissa has additional certifications in Managing Big Data with SQL from Coursera and Google AdWords from Google. It is unclear whether they attended UCL or East China Normal University and if they received a degree or field of study from those institutions.
