Matthew Baum is currently serving as the Assistant Plant Manager and Facilities Maintenance Manager at ecomaine since September 2018. Matthew previously worked as a Power Plant Operator at Calpine from September 2011 to September 2018. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Husson University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Power Engineering and Technology from Maine Maritime Academy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Matthew completed their high school education at Cheverus High School. Matthew is responsible for maintaining process equipment for three facilities and overseeing a multi-million dollar combined cycle natural gas power plant.
