EcoMap is a research organization and open data platform, developed in collaboration with leading academic institutions and MSCI Sustainability Institute. The platform provides quantified and monetized environmental costs covering ~20,000 companies, 86 countries, and 381 industries. Developed and operated without a profit motive, EcoMap provides accessible, transparent, and academically rigorous analysis of environmental impacts through impact accounting. By enabling stakeholders across industry, academia, government, and civil society to understand the total impact of corporate activities, EcoMap ensures that environmental considerations are actionable, comparable, and free from commercial influence.
