Fernando Colom Jover

Fernando Colom Jover is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in both structural and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Civil Engineer (Global) at ECOncrete® Tech LTD. since January 2022, Fernando specializes in nature-based design solutions for marine construction, promoting environmentally sustainable infrastructure. Previously, Fernando worked as an MSc. Civil and Structural Engineer at Degree of Freedom, focusing on the design and onsite support of reinforced concrete bridges in Norway. A solid educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant, along with Bachelor’s degrees from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and Universitat d'Alacant. Fernando’s diverse experience includes freelance work and positions at various engineering firms and academic institutions, contributing to projects that enhance the functionality and sustainability of civil infrastructure.
