Nduduzo Tshuma

Nduduzo Tshuma has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Nduduzo began their career as a Software Programmer at ZB Bank in 1998. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Systems Analyst at TRUST Banking Corporation Limited, where they implemented the Core Banking system. Nduduzo then joined Premier Banking Corporation as an Information Technology Manager from 2005 to 2007, responsible for roll-out of ATMs, POS, card infrastructure, and internet banking solutions.

In 2008, Nduduzo Tshuma became the Head of Department at RAINBOW TOURISM GROUP, managing the entire ICT operation in three countries and delivering a new Hotel Management system. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Information Technology Manager at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, being in charge of project implementation for Ecocash services and collaborating with Western Union, MoneyGram, and WorldRemit for the ECOCASH Remittances Services.

Finally, Nduduzo Tshuma became the Head of Information Technology & Digital Transformation at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe in October 2015. In this role, they led Agile teams in developing and deploying the E2E FinTech Solution (EcoCash) in Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Burundi. Nduduzo also built effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to understand their strategic priorities and led the successful roll-out of ECOCASH Remittances Services, resulting in a 15% business market share growth.

Nduduzo Tshuma holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Financial Services from the University of Zimbabwe. Nduduzo also has certifications including PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute Chennai Chapter, Certified Internal Auditor certification from the IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, and Certified Information Systems Auditor certification from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Additionally, they have obtained various other certifications and completed training courses in areas such as Agile Foundations, Cloud Computing, ITIL Foundation 4, Data Science, and Project Management, among others.
