Founded in 2016 and based in Northern Minas Gerais, Brazil, EcoNew combines nearly a decade of industrial experience in solid biomass processing with scalable biochar and carbon removal production.

We produce hardwood charcoal briquettes engineered for:
• Industrial biomass burners
• Steam boiler systems
• Process heat applications
• BBQ retail and export markets

Our production integrates industrial drying, high-pressure briquetting, strict quality control, and full traceability. We are FSC® Chain of Custody certified (FSC® C138948), reinforcing responsible sourcing and sustainable supply chains.

Building on our biomass expertise, we are currently ramping up our industrial biochar reactor, converting residual eucalyptus biomass into stable carbon.

Our biochar platform enables:
• Permanent carbon removal
• Certified carbon credit generation
• Soil regeneration for degraded lands

We have successfully passed the preliminary certification stage under the Puro.Earth biochar methodology and are actively structuring long-term offtake agreements for carbon removal credits.

Brazil — particularly Northern Minas Gerais — faces large areas of degraded, low-organic-matter soils. We believe biochar will become a key sustainable input for Brazilian agribusiness, improving soil structure, water retention, nutrient efficiency, and long-term carbon stocks.
