Galya Prokopieva has been the CEO of Economedia since 2012, leading Bulgaria's largest business media publisher, known for its commitment to quality journalism over a 27-year history. Prior to this role, Galya served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Economedia from 2001 to August 2010 and held the positions of Editor-in-Chief for both the Capital weekly and Dnevnik. Galya's career in journalism began at Capital weekly, where responsibilities included reporting, editing, and conducting investigations from 1993 to 2001. Galya holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy.
