Lauren Baer, CMP

Lauren Baer, CMP has a wealth of experience in event planning and management. Lauren began their career in 2008 as an Event Management Intern at Noelle-Elaine Media, Inc. and then held an internship at the United States Golf Association in 2009 as a Will Call Intern. Lauren then served as a Press Intern at Seventh House PR. In 2010, they were an Event Intern at AllianceBernstein. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Emanate PR as a Senior Associate and Account Associate. Lauren then moved on to Barclays as an Event Coordinator, where they were the lead planner for 15 events and supported the team on an additional 45 events. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Event Planner at Univision Communications Inc. and is currently the Senior Director of Events at The Economic Club of New York, where they lead a speaker series of high-profile presenters and oversees the events team in their execution of all logistics.

Lauren Baer, CMP obtained their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Hospitality from Syracuse University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they attended Northeastern University from 2006 to 2008, studying Communications. In 2018, they obtained the Certified Event Designer (CED) certification from the Event Design Collective GmbH. In 2021, they obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
