Carlos A. Manjarrez

Carlos A. Manjarrez, PhD has a diverse work experience in research and policy analysis. Carlos A. has held various roles such as Chief Data Officer at the U.S. Economic Development Administration and Legal Services Corporation, as well as non-resident Senior Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center. Their expertise lies in data governance, analysis, and research in the fields of economic development, civil legal aid, and community services.

Carlos A. Manjarrez, PhD, holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Latino Studies from the University of Michigan. Carlos A. pursued further education at Northwestern University in Sociology, where they achieved the ABD status. Carlos A. also completed a certificate in Cultural Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Urban and Regional Planning with an Economic Development Concentration from the University of Maryland. Manjarrez also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for an Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning Advanced Research Workshop. Furthermore, they have participated in the SSRC Advanced Statistical Methods Training & Latino Demography Workshop at the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research.
