Lauren Duhon, MPP, is an accomplished Economic Development Specialist at the U.S. Economic Development Administration, serving the Austin regional office since August 2021, where responsibilities include reviewing and processing economic development projects and grants for multiple states. Previously, Lauren held roles as a Policy Researcher at Elevated: Economic Development, focusing on initiatives related to food insecurity and socioeconomic inequities, and as a Marketing and Communications Associate at Ennuity Holdings, managing digital content. With experience as a Community Outreach Specialist at New American Strategies, a Yearbook and Newspaper Adviser at Katy ISD, and various positions in media, including photojournalism and political communications internships, Lauren possesses a strong background in communication and community engagement. Lauren earned a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication-Journalism from Louisiana State University.
