Mayella Larode

Mayella Larode is an experienced housing specialist currently serving as a HUD Rapid Rehousing Specialist at the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. since November 2017, where responsibilities include assisting homeless families in securing suitable housing opportunities. Previously, Mayella held the position of Residential Assistant Manager at the Head Injury Association from June 2015 to November 2017 and served as Housing Manager/Operations Support at Hands Across Long Island from May 2012 to March 2016. Mayella is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at SUNY Empire State College, expected to be completed in June 2024.
