Gary Burris

Gary Burris is currently the Executive Director of the Child Care Action Council, where Gary manages programs that provide training and support to child care providers and families. Prior to their current role, Gary served as Senior Policy Associate at the Economic Opportunity Institute, conducting research and publishing policy briefs on retirement security. Gary has also held positions at the WA Department of Early Learning and Social and Health Services, Oregon Commission on Children and Families, and OSPI. Gary holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's degree from The Evergreen State College.
