Julie Cooper

Julie Cooper has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Executive Vice President and Director of the LA Office at Economic & Planning Systems, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President and Director of the LA Office at the same company from August 2020. Julie also worked as a Senior Associate at the company from August 2018 to August 2020.

Before joining Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., Julie worked at Development Strategies Inc. as an Associate, Policy & Real Estate Strategist from March 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Julie has experience in the tourism sector. Julie worked as the Director of Public Relations, Midwest Region at Israel Ministry of Tourism from January 2008 to June 2012, and earlier as an Academic Affairs Intern at Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest from July 2006 to November 2006.

Julie Cooper's education history includes receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Chicago, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Masters of Public Policy with honors and obtained a Certificate in Municipal Finance from the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. During their time at the Harris School, Julie focused on Urban and Community Development.
