Marta Kuersten Wolaver

Marta Kuersten Wolaver has had a diverse career (co-founding an NYC theatre company, working for Major League Baseball, starting a website for unique food experiences called Fork Monkey) that has found its natural culmination in activism, advocacy and politics. She ran the fundraising arm (FundHer) of a grassroots political organization dedicated to electing progressive womxn at the state and local level in New York. Most recently she worked on campaigns for the Michigan State House of Representatives and the NYC City Council. She is excited to be working for an organization that names and addresses so many issues she cares deeply about: racial justice, the future of work and the care economy.
