Allan Chan

Allan Chan is the Vice President of Governance for Personal Insurance and Claims at Economical Insurance, a position held since September 2018. Prior to this role, Allan served as the Vice President of National Claims Risk and Governance at RSA Canada, where responsibilities included leading the reconstruction of the Claims Risk & Governance framework and enhancing stakeholder management. Allan's previous roles at RSA Canada also encompassed positions such as Director of Internal Audit, Corporate Development Senior Consultant, Corporate Strategy Leader, and Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant, contributing to significant strategic initiatives and financial performance enhancements. Earlier in the career, Allan worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP and a Staff Accountant at KPMG. Allan holds a CPA, CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, completed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
