Tom Reikman

Tom Reikman is a seasoned executive in the insurance industry with extensive experience spanning multiple leadership roles. As the Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer at Economical Insurance since January 2014, Tom has focused on driving innovative sales and marketing strategies within the intermediated distribution channel. Prior to this role, Tom served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Economical, overseeing national sales and operational effectiveness across Canada. In addition, Tom held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Family Insurance Solutions until December 2022, providing governance for one of British Columbia's largest private auto and property MGAs. Tom's prior experience includes senior roles at Aviva Canada, where significant contributions were made in business growth and operational improvements. Tom holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Western University, alongside a CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
