Steve Smythe

Steve Smythe has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Economy Polymers & Chemicals since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Drill2Frac Corporation as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing from January 2017 to October 2017, where they promoted new software technology, organized trade shows, and managed CRM systems. From 2009 to 2017, Steve held various roles at Weatherford, including Manager of Business Development and Manager of US Integrated Services, where they developed strategies, secured contracts, and led the growth of multiple services. Before that, they were the Sales and Operations Manager at Baker Hughes from January 2007 to March 2009, where they managed a start-up company and established joint ventures and licensing agreements. Steve also worked as a Sales Account Executive at Complete Production Services, Inc. from July 2005 to January 2009, assisting in the startup of various businesses. Steve also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/President of Crawdaddy's Bayou Grill from 2000 to 2005, where they managed all aspects of the restaurant. Steve's early career includes positions at Schlumberger as a Regional Operations Manager, Senior Sales Engineer, and Field Service Engineer, where they managed operations, drove sales, and provided technical support.

Steve Smythe graduated from Nicholls State University in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering Technology.
