Hector Hernan Gutierrez

Hector Hernan Gutierrez is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in international procurement and procurement supervision. Currently serving as a Sr. Supply Chain Advisor at Ecopetrol America, Inc., since January 2011, Hector manages international procurement activities. Prior to this role, Hector held the position of Procurement Supervisor at Petrobras America Inc., from August 2006 to January 2011, where responsibilities included supervising a team of 16 buyers and overseeing a significant procurement operation with an annual budget of 250 million dollars. Earlier experience includes serving as a Buyer for the Refining and Petrochemical Divisions at Integrated Trade Systems, Inc. (PEMEX) from September 1997 to August 2006, where key achievements involved negotiating high-value contracts. Hector holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Monterrey.
