Nicolas Ramirez Barrera

Nicolas Ramirez Barrera is a seasoned professional in the fields of economics and finance, currently serving as the Head of Economic and Industry Analysis and Head of Investor Relations at Ecopetrol since January 2018. Nicolas also holds a position as a Partner at Perfilizate and has been a Professor in the Master in Finance program specializing in Financial Modeling at Universidad del Norte since January 2013. Prior experience includes roles at Grupo Energía Bogotá as a Senior Advisor in Valuation, Investments, M&A, and New Business Development, and at IQ outsourcing as a Business Coordinator. Nicolas's earlier roles include financial research leadership at Bolsa de Valores de Colombia S.A. and an Analyst position at Porvenir. Academically, Nicolas holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes and has completed specialized programs in Energy Transition and Leadership and Innovation from IFP School and MIT Professional Education, respectively.
