Sergio Pinzon

Sergio Pinzon is an experienced petroleum engineer with a comprehensive background in production optimization, subsurface reliability, and nodal analysis. Currently serving as the Leader of Production Optimization in the Engineering Department at Ecopetrol since April 2013, Sergio has previously held positions at Tiger Company Ltd and NATFRAC, where responsibilities included nodal analysis and drilling performance research. From 2008 to 2009, experience was gained at Schlumberger as a drilling fluids and completion engineer. Sergio has a degree in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on physicochemistry from Universidad Industrial de Santander, obtained between 2000 and 2006. Notable contributions include modeling integrated pilot projects and analyzing production processes using advanced methodologies and software.
