Basheer Zada

Mr. Zada joined EcoR1 in June 2018 as an Analyst and is responsible for due diligence and analysis of biotechnology companies for value-oriented investments. Prior to joining EcoR1, Mr. Zada spent four years as a Senior Associate at Brace Pharma Capital, a life sciences focused venture capital firm. At Brace, Mr. Zada led due diligence processes for early and late stage biotechnology companies. In addition, he developed and presented investment theses to the firm’s partners and LPs. Mr. Zada holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Georgetown University.
