Nikita Tovstoles

Nikita Tovstoles has a long and varied work history. Nikita began their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where they built proof-of-concept UI apps in Java Swing. In 2003, they co-founded WorkoutIQ, a mobile app and web service that allowed personal fitness trainers to log and analyze workouts. In 2006, they became the Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer at Doppelganger, where they worked on vSide, an immersive 3D virtual world. In 2009, they co-founded EcoRebates and served as CTO, building a SaaS platform for hard-to-find offers to retail point of sale. In 2016, they joined Stripe as an Engineering Manager, founding the Monetization team and shipping cost modeling and billing/reporting platforms to Stripe users. In 2020, they joined DoorDash as the Director of Engineering and Sr Engineering Manager.

Nikita Tovstoles received their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained their BS with distinction in Computer Science from Duke University. Before attending college, Nikita Tovstoles attended San Mateo High School.
