Audrey Palomar has a diverse and extensive work experience in various environmental and climate-related roles. Audrey has served as a Climate Policy Expert on the Article 6.4 Mechanism of the Paris Agreement at UN Climate Change since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Nature-Based Solutions (APAC) and a NBS Forest/Blue Carbon Technical Specialist at ecosecurities starting in 2022. Audrey also worked as an Independent Consultant at the Forest Management Bureau from 2019 to 2022. Audrey has also been an Assistant Professorial Lecturer at De La Salle University since 2017 and has held multiple roles at the Center for Conservation Innovations, including Technical Advisor, Forest Carbon | Technical Lead, and Forest Carbon Project Manager. Additionally, they have worked as an Independent Consultant at Futures Inc and served as an Instructor at The ONE School, teaching environmental science and sustainability. Audrey has additional experience as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo and as a Mangrove Research Associate and Lead Technical Report Writer at Conservation International Philippines Foundation and Center for Conservation Innovations PH Inc., respectively.
Audrey Palomar completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science and Ecosystem Management from De La Salle University, with a start year of 2014 and an end year of 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Legal Management from San Beda College, starting in 2008 and completing the degree in 2012. Audrey also attended Tarlac Montessori School for their high school education from 2004 to 2008. Unfortunately, the field of study for their high school degree is not provided.
