Ecoshell transforms waste eggshells into high-performance sustainable materials that help manufacturers reduce plastic and lower carbon emissions without changing the way they manufacture.

Our proprietary technology upcycles discarded eggshells into advanced bio-calcium compounds that integrate into existing plastics as a simple drop-in solution. By replacing up to 50% of conventional plastic, Ecoshell helps companies meet sustainability goals and plastic-reduction mandates without relying on consumer behavior, redesigning products, or investing in new equipment. In many applications, our materials achieve cost parity, or even reduce costs, while maintaining performance.

Beyond plastic reduction, Ecoshell is developing functional materials that create additional value. Our natural eggshell-based antibacterial technology provides a more affordable alternative to heavy metal-based antimicrobial additives, while our whitening formulations reduce reliance on titanium dioxide. We are also developing sustainable films and thermoformed meat trays designed to reduce plastic while helping extend shelf life and fight odor.

Our materials are compatible with virgin and PCR PE, PP, PS, EVA, ABS, PVC, rubber, and compostable polymers, making them ideal for films, bags, bottles, jars, trays, closures, packaging, consumer products, and industrial applications.

Headquartered in Covington, Kentucky, Ecoshell combines North American commercial leadership with global manufacturing expertise and strategic production partners throughout Asia.

Our vision extends beyond a single technology. Ecoshell is building a sustainable materials platform that will continue introducing breakthrough solutions for manufacturers seeking practical alternatives to conventional materials. By transforming agricultural waste into high-value products, we help businesses reduce plastic, lower carbon emissions, and create products that are good for business and good for the planet.
