Frank Wambutt

Frank Wambutt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Web Developer for fuse - interactive. Frank then joined moviepilot GmbH in 2007 as a Software and Web Developer. In 2011, Frank worked as a Thesis Student and Researcher for Ericsson before becoming an Interaction Designer and Developer at Modus Operandi. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Amazon Web Services in different positions, such as Software Development Manager for AWS Console and AWS OpsWorks. Currently, Frank is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Ecosia since September 2022, and prior to that, they served as an Engineering Manager since August 2021.

Frank Wambutt completed a Bachelor of Science degree in International Media and Computing from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Interactive Systems Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
