Jason D'Souza is a skilled Research and Development Scientist at EcoSynthetix Inc. since August 2017, specializing in paper-coatings, wood composite binders, and biopolymers for home and personal care, while also leading the environmental management system for ISO 14000 and conducting chemical risk assessments. Prior experience includes serving as an Industrial Post-doctoral Fellow researching non-added formaldehyde wood composite binders, working as a freelance technical editor, and teaching engineering communications at the University of Toronto. Early career roles involved research and surface analysis with GMA Cover Corp, as well as a lab assistant position at BPB North American Services Inc. Jason D'Souza holds a Ph.D. in Forestry, a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Materials Engineering, all from the University of Toronto.
