Tim Baumgartner

Tim Baumgartner is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental management and restoration. Currently serving as the Senior Environmental Manager at Ecosystem Planning and Restoration since March 2022, Tim previously held the role of Director at the Division of Mitigation Services from July 2017 to September 2021, and served as Deputy Director of Operations at the same division from July 2013 to July 2017, focusing on cost-efficient credit delivery through high-quality mitigation projects. Prior experience includes positions as an Environmental Specialist at NC EEP and various roles as an Environmental Scientist at Mulkey Engineers & Consultants, Stantec, and Louis Berger. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from North Carolina State University, earned between 1990 and 1992.
