Matt Hubbard is the Director of Design at Ecotone. Prior to joining Ecotone, Matt worked as a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn, where they were responsible for environmental water resources. Before that, Matt worked as a Senior Environmental Designer at Coastal Resources, Inc. and as a Project Manager at Whitney, Bailey, Cox & Magnani. In their role as a Project Manager, Matt was responsible for leading stream and wetland design projects. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Wetland Construction Team Leader at Environmental Concern and as an Environmental Management Fellow at the Chesapeake Research Consortium.
Matt Hubbard attended the Universidad de Guadalajara for a watershed exchange program in Autlan De Navarro. Matt then studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for their Bachelor of Arts in English and Environmental Studies. After graduation, they worked for a year as an ILS at St. Paul's School.
