Kate Jefferies

Kate Jefferies is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and forensic services. Currently serving as Interim Finance Manager at Ecotricity since December 2021, Kate previously held roles at Igloo Energy, where responsibilities included Financial Controller for both energy operations and general financial oversight. At Grant Thornton UK LLP, Kate worked for over 16 years, rising to Associate Director in Forensic & Investigation Services, where advice was provided on loss of profits and business valuations during disputes. Additionally, Kate was Head of Programmes and Relationship Manager at Integrated Reporting, engaging with prominent companies on integrated reporting initiatives. Kate holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW, as well as a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Management from the University of Birmingham.
