Rosario di Maggio

Rosario Di Maggio has extensive work experience in various roles related to business development, internationalization, and education in both Europe and China. Rosario currently serves as the Head of Business Development at ECOVIS International, where they work closely with the management board and partners to set goals and implement business development strategies. Prior to this, they worked at Promos Italia and NIBI as an Expert and Professor, respectively, focusing on business internationalization.

Earlier in their career, Di Maggio held positions at VISTRA as the Director of Business Development, where they built and implemented successful strategies for pan-European and (Greater) China in-bound business development. Rosario also served as a Lecturer at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, Bologna Business School, and Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia, delivering lectures on doing business in China.

Before that, Di Maggio worked at Dezan Shira & Associates, where they held various managerial roles, including Manager for Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta and Manager for South China and Vietnam. Rosario played a key role in developing the firm's presence and client base in China and Vietnam, leading multiple international expansion projects.

Prior to their time at Dezan Shira & Associates, Di Maggio worked as a Content Writer at Asia Briefing Ltd. and as an Assistant to the Business Manager at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

Rosario Di Maggio pursued an MBA in Business Administration at HKUST Business School. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in International Relations and Developing Countries from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Additionally, they attended the International Business School for studies in Business Administration.
