Paul Whittleston

Paul Whittleston has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the chemical industry. Paul is currently the President of Catalyst Technologies at Ecovyst, Inc., where they are responsible for leading the global business unit and ensuring health, safety, and environmental performance. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Ecovyst, where they led the company's strategy and M&A activities.

Previously, Whittleston served as the Vice President of Industrial Solutions at SI Group, where they led the merger of two business units and developed a five-year strategy. Paul also worked at TI Fluid Systems as the Managing and Operations Director for the Americas, overseeing the fuel tank and delivery systems division.

Earlier in their career, Whittleston held various roles at BASF, including Vice President of Business Management for Automotive Refinish & Industrial Coating Solutions North America. Paul also served as the Global Head of Marketing and New Business Development at Ciba, a specialty chemical company.

Throughout their career, Whittleston has demonstrated expertise in driving business growth, leading strategic initiatives, and building high-performing teams.

Paul Whittleston earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry from The University of Huddersfield, which they attended from 1993 to 1998. Paul then pursued a master's degree in Environmental Analytical Science at Sheffield Hallam University from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they completed their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of Bradford between 2000 and 2003.
