Mercy Abang

Mercy Abang is a highly experienced professional serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Editor at Hostwriter and Unbias The News, respectively, since 2021. In addition, Mercy holds the position of Chairperson of the Board for the Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship since January 2022 and is a member of the Management Board at illmi childrensfund. Other roles include serving as a Lead Trainer for YALI TechCamps at the U.S. Department of State, a Communications Consultant for Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, and an Election Observer for the ECOWAS Commission. Mercy has a diverse background as a journalist, having worked with Al Jazeera Media Network and Independent Television & Radio. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Berlin School of Business & Innovation and various certifications in communication and media studies.
