Rahul Umbarkar

Rahul Umbarkar has worked in the engineering field since 2017. In 2018, they joined Ecozen Solutions as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for CAAD of structural, plastic and sheet metal components using Creo and Fusion 360, development of products from initial concept design to production phase, machining, prototyping, testing and release, and DFM & DFA activities to optimize cost and time. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Super Auto India Ltd, where they designed quality test procedures of the finished product, managed supplier development efforts, and supervised product development and introduction of prototypes for automobile component designs.

Rahul Umbarkar is currently pursuing a Master of Technology degree in Design Engineering from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes, which they began in 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur in 2017. Rahul also completed 12th grade (hssc) from Sindhu Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur in 2012, and 10th grade (ssc) from Bishop cotton school, nagpur in 2010. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Autodesk, Robogenesis, and Udemy, including Autodesk Certified Professional: AutoCAD® 2014 (2014), Programming on Robotic Arm (2013), Fusion 360 (N/A), and Hyperworks: Meshing and Linear Static Analysis (N/A).
