Cathy Barrineau Cherry

Cathy Barrineau Cherry serves as the Controller at ECPI University since April 2012, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership. Previously, Cathy worked as an Entrepreneurial Consultant at Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P.C. in early 2012 and held the position of Chief Financial Officer at JoKell from February 2009 to December 2011. Cathy's career includes significant roles at Dominion Enterprises, serving as Senior VP Finance & Administration from October 2006 to February 2009, and at Trader Publishing Company, where Cathy progressed from Assistant Controller to Vice President Finance and Information Technology before ultimately serving as Senior Vice President. The foundational years in Cathy's career were spent at Price Waterhouse as a Staff/Senior Accountant. Cathy holds a BS in Accounting from Clemson University, earned between 1982 and 1986.
